Finding rare resins

The strongest resins can’t be crafted at all. Rare-tier resins are loot-only — and two effects, Quartermaster and Ore Salting, exist only at Rare, so exploring is the sole way to get them.

Where they hide

Each qualifying chest has a small chance to hold one random Rare resin. Look in end-game structures:

• End cities
• Ancient cities
• Nether fortresses & bastions
• Woodland mansions
• Strongholds
• Buried treasure
