Resins

What resins do

There are six resin effects. Slot one before you print and it reshapes the result. For where they come from, see the resins overview.

The six effects

  • Verdant — plants print fully grown.
  • Experience — the print banks XP for you.
  • Treasure — printed chests may hold loot.
  • Overdrive — the print costs less filament.
  • Quartermaster — printed fixtures arrive stocked.
  • Ore Salting — printed stone and its variants hide ore veins.

How they scale

  • Overdrive — at Uncommon the print hits exact break-even; at Rare it turns a profit, returning more filament than you spent.
  • Experience — a catalyzed print stores XP on the machine, furnace-style. Pull the finished disc from the output slot and the orbs are yours. A big build with a Rare resin is worth roughly a 0-to-30 jump.
  • Treasure — drops rare loot into printed chests, barrels and shulkers; the haul scales with the resin’s rarity.
  • Quartermaster — stocks useful things instead: fuelled furnaces, a ready brewing stand, and a move-in kit with enchanted iron tools.

Rare-tier resins are loot-only — see finding rare resins.
